About Jeremy

Jeremy Wade is an active instructor, clinician, performer, and composer based in Central Kentucky. He has served as the Director of Percussion at George Rogers Clark High School since 2016, and at Lexington Christian Academy since 2008. He is also an adjunct faculty member with the Kentucky McTeggart Irish Dancers (KMID), serving as a bodhrán instructor and beginning dance teacher.

A versatile performer, Jeremy has played with many ensembles ranging from symphony orchestras to rock and jazz bands. He is a founding member of the local trad group, Set Course, and frequently performs alongside Liam’s Fancy and John Skelton. He is a veteran of Craiceann: The Bodhrán Summer School, and has studied with several of the world’s top players. As an Irish dancer, Jeremy performs as a member of the KMID Faculty Company, and has garnered numerous competitive accolades with McTeggart’s Adult Céilí team.

Jeremy Wade resides in Lexington, KY, and is a member of the Percussive Arts Society. He holds a B.A. in Telecommunications from the University of Kentucky – with an emphasis on audio and video production – and remains a constant student of music.
