About Rowan
| I am a fiddle player, composer and tutor from Ballymena, County Antrim, in the northeast of Ireland. I currently reside in Glasgow, playing and teaching in its vibrant traditional music scene.
I have a BMus in folk and traditional music from Newcastle University and an ALCM in Irish Traditional Music Performance. Since graduating in 2014, I have been performing with bands and solo all across Ireland, the UK and further afield, as well as teaching the fiddle to students of all ages and abilities, passing on my expertise in the instrument as well as the rich musical heritage of Ireland. |
